Maricopa County Community College District: Glendale CC – North Campus Expansion

$900,000.00 design to budget for technology systems. Convergent Technologies provided complete design services for audiovisual systems with associated infrastructure as it relates to the North Campus Expansion at Glendale Community College. Space plans include: classrooms, laboratories, community room, activity room, fitness room, group study/social gathering areas, game room, food seating area and a triage/lobby area in the student services building as well as common area type spaces. The North Campus Expansion will include the addition of four buildings, an instruction building, Student Services building, information building and a Central Plant building, that will operate as a satellite of the main campus. Project highlights include designing audiovisual output signals that allow “podcasting” distribution from classroom/lab spaces and designing systems that encourage collaboration between students. This project was a multi-phase design project and has been successfully complete since Fall 2008.
