Baltimore City Public School System – Augusta Fells Savage High School

A small learning community high school, The August Fells Savage Institute of Visual Arts emphasizes visual arts such as Computer Graphic Design, Drawing and Painting, AP Photography and Sculpture along with Individualized Learning Plans. The scope of this project includes complete design services for audiovisual systems with infrastructure. Spaces to receive technology systems included broadcast control room, a studio space shared with a gaming lab, and audio/video editing room. The gaming lab, which is part of the computer arts program, features two interactive motion gaming seats and center console controls that allow for switching between PC, XBOX and PS3 gaming systems. Standard and simulation games are viewed in LED active 3D displays. A Monaural speech and program stereo audio reinforcement for gaming collaboration and music/FX enhancement of the video gaming experience are also included. This project was completed in Spring of 2011.
