Baltimore County Public Schools – Cockeysville Middle School

The scope of this project included complete design services for telecommunications cabling systems with associated infrastructure and audiovisual systems infrastructure as they pertain to the systematic renovations at Cockeysville Middle School. The one-story building, constructed in the mid-1960s, required upgrades to general and specialty classrooms and building systems to support the renovation. Renovated spaces include seven science classrooms and laboratories. Project responsibilities include identifying wireless access points, and planning audiovisual systems infrastructure to support ceiling mounted projectors, equipment racks and instructor’s stations. Systems infrastructure was designed to future proof the renovated spaces and their programmed uses. This project was a two-year design and construction effort completed in August 2007.
