Baltimore County Public Schools – Kenwood High School

The scope of this project for Baltimore County Public Schools included complete design services for telecommunications cabling systems with associated infrastructure for voice/data/video, audiovisual systems infrastructure and acoustics, noise & vibration control. The purpose of this project was to upgrade the existing Technical Education Wing and add classroom space for this and other programs. The types of spaces to receive technology education systems include classrooms, engineering labs, technology labs, construction education labs and classrooms, JROTC classrooms, a Satellite Cafeteria for Seniors, graphics and printing labs, communication technology labs and a video production control room. Specified systems include custom instructor’s stations and wireless networking systems. Design responsibilities commenced from the schematic design phase through construction administration of the installed systems and finishes. Additional responsibilities include recommendations for room shaping and finishes for all acoustically sensitive spaces. This project has been successfully complete since Fall 2007.
