Department of Veteran Affairs, Eastern Colorado Health Care System Denver Veterans Affairs Medical Center – Replacement Hospital

 

Located on the Fitzsimons Medical Campus, this new Medical Center will include 940,000 gsf of new buildings and 120,000 gsf of renovations. The 204-bed inpatient hospital will include diagnostic and treatment facilities, ambulatory care clinics, research laboratories, support facilities, and inpatient beds in acute care, critical care, mental health, rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, and long-term care units. Multiple scopes for this project include: complete acoustical peer review services of the Interior Fit Out – 1(IFO-1) DD-1 package including an acoustical design criteria report, an acoustical peer review of the Structural (STR-1 & STR-2) and Building Core (CS-1) packages including a vibration report and an acoustical design criteria report, and an acoustical peer review of the Clinic Building South (CBS) DD-2 package including a vibration report and an acoustical design criteria report. This phased construction project is scheduled for completion in 2014.
