Embassy of the United Kingdom – Rotunda Renovation

Convergent Technologies Design Group was asked to provide recommendations to Beyer Blinder Belle for new or replacement Audiovisual systems and system components for the Embassy of the United Kingdom Rotunda Renovation.  Existing systems and components were assessed in detail, and certain system component replacement models were specified. Additional recommendations were made regarding the inclusion of a new motorized, castered presenter’s podium, as well as an integrated audio teleconference system. Infrastructural recommendations were included regarding floorbox locations and upgraded high-definition multimedia interface connectivity. In addition, the interior acoustical qualities of the space were identified through detailed acoustical modeling and calculations. The results of these calculations were used to offer recommendations regarding the specified interior finishes.
