Maricopa County Community College District: Scottsdale CC – Language & Communications Building
This scope of this project included infrastructure (conduit, pathways & junction boxes) design services to support: audiovisual systems, telecommunications cabling systems, and non-linear editing systems, as well as, recommendations for acoustics, noise & vibration control. The types of spaces to receive audiovisual systems & acoustical design services included: general/specialty classrooms, video post-production laboratories, conference rooms, computer laboratories, and office spaces. Project responsibilities included: specifications for telecommunications distribution rooms, audiovisual systems infrastructure, all IDF/MDF rooms, outside plant cross-connect cabling systems, cable tray, telecommunications cabling infrastructure, project management through bidding & negotiations, and construction administration project management through systems testing and acceptance. The project was a two-year, multi-phase design project. The project has been successfully complete since December 2004.
