National Institutes of Health – Foundation Academic Education in the Sciences

The scope for the National Institute of Health Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences included the design of audiovisual systems and its associated infrastructure and room acoustics. Project responsibilities included heat load figures, AC power requirements and special grounding and bonding measures for audiovisual systems, as well as signal flows for audiovisual equipment used in sub-dividable classrooms, fixed classrooms, conference room, graduate student lounge, and lobby area. Features within these areas include multi-media presentation systems, video projection, remote controlled audiovisual systems, program and speech audio reinforcement, as well as AV recording & baseband distribution systems. The scope of this project commenced at the Construction Documents phase and construction is scheduled to be complete in 2012.
