National Museum of Natural History – Director’s Corridor & Executive Conference Room

The scope of this project includes full audiovisual systems design for two (2) executive style conference rooms at the National Museum of Natural History. Specified systems include: audiovisual presentation and recording, videoconferencing capabilities, remote control PTZ cameras, data/video projection, plasma/LCD displays, combined program and monaural speech audio reinforcement, and remote control interfaces including video preview. The primary spaces to receive audiovisual & multimedia systems include the Director’s Corridor Conference Room and the Executive sub-dividable Conference Room. Project responsibilities include: complete specifications for all audiovisual/multimedia systems, design of custom presenter’s lectern, design and coordination of supporting infrastructure, power and heat load information, project management through bidding & negotiations, and construction administration project management through systems testing and acceptance. The project has been successfully complete since March 2006.
