San Diego County Operations Center – HVAC Noise Control Design Services
The scope for the San Diego County Operations Center Central Plant Building included an acoustical analysis of the noise impact of four interior chillers, and four exterior, roof top cooling towers, as well as the emergency generator scheduled for the facility. The Central Plant provides electrical power distribution and manufactured equipment service to the entire campus. Project responsibilities included the review of design documents, along with recommendations for octave sound power levels allowed for sound control in order to meet the City of San Diego noise ordinance requirements. The scope of this project commenced after Design Development phase and construction has been completed since Fall 2010.
