Binghamton School District- Capital Improvements Project

Binghamton School District is a historic school district in New York State, which includes several schools throughout Binghamton City and the surrounding area. The District has elected to undergo a Capital Improvements project for all elementary, middle, and high school buildings located in Binghamton City. The new project will make improvement to all 10 of the district schools, including new roofs, exterior structural improvements, drainage systems, and updating the security systems in all buildings. Convergent Technologies was engaged by Highland Associates to provide Security System Design and Construction Administration services for all buildings included in this Capital Improvements project, with the intention of designing and specifying security systems which meet the growing need across the nation for improved monitoring, access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance of primary education buildings. This project is estimated to be completed in 2015.
