Bucks County Community College – New Gateway Center

The scope of this project included complete design services for audiovisual (AV) & multimedia systems to include: video projection, audiovisual recording, videoconferencing, and program/speech audio reinforcement. The New Gateway Center at Bucks County Community College serves as one of the primary campus entrances and houses a testing center, Business & Industry Training Rooms, Computer Labs, Science & Technology Lab, and a Teleconference / Television Center. The primary spaces to receive technology systems were the Television Center/Control Room, five (5) Multimedia Labs & Resource Rooms, Sub-dividable Lab spaces and Digital Editing Suites. Project responsibilities included: complete specifications for all audiovisual/multimedia and RF video cabling systems and project management through bidding & negotiations concluding with construction administration project management through systems testing and acceptance. The design scope commenced with a schematic design phase that included the development of preliminary design cost estimates for the to be specified AV systems. This project has been successfully complete since November 1999.
