City of Alexandria – City Hall Conference Center

The scope of this project consisted of full audiovisual systems design for an executive style conference room located in the Alexandria City Hall Conference Center. Features of the conference room: combined program/speech audio reinforcement, flat panel data/video displays, audioconferencing capabilities, remote control pan/tilt/zoom video cameras, and IP addressable remote control interfaces including video preview. Project responsibilities involved complete specifications for all audiovisual/multimedia systems, design and coordination of supporting infrastructure, power and heat load information, project management through bidding & negotiations, concluding with construction administration through systems testing and acceptance. Project highlights include the opportunity to continue a working relationship with the Owner and design team after the completion of past projects. The project has been successfully complete since January 2007.
