Delaware Technical & Community College – Office of the President – Addition & Renovations

With campuses in Dove, Georgetown, Stanton, and Wilmington, Delaware Tech has been named as an educational leader in the state. The Dover campus’ Central Administration Building (commonly known as the Office of the President) currently houses the Office of the President, Academic Affairs, Human Resources, Legal, Finance, Accounting, and Purchasing Documents. In order to accommodate additional functions of International Education, Center for Creative Instruction and Technology, and College-wide Planning, Assessment and Articulation, complete building renovations and a 6,000 square foot addition were needed. Convergent Technologies was asked to provide complete telecommunications cabling systems with associates supporting infrastructure for voice/data/RF video outlets and access control/video surveillance systems design services. Space plans include: conference rooms, offices, computer room, and administrative spaces. Design began in April, 2012 and construction is expected to be complete in April, 2014.
