McLaren Healthcare – Proton Therapy Center

Convergent Technologies is providing complete design services for emergency paging audio, intercom, video surveillance (CCTV), access control/intrusion detection, and treatment room status area displays for the new McLaren Healthcare Proton Therapy Center. Once complete, the McLaren Proton Therapy Center will be the first proton beam therapy center in Michigan, and one of nine in the entire country. It is projected to treat patients throughout Michigan, as well as Canada and surrounding states. The Center is said to be representative of the future of proton therapy with its apprehensible advances in design and technology. The types of spaces receiving technology systems design include: patient treatment areas, control rooms, treatment imaging room, reception, examining rooms, procedure rooms, nurses’ workrooms, and executive offices. This project is currently in the Construction Administration Phase.
