Virginia Commonwealth University – Institute for Contemporary Arts

This nationally ranked School of the Arts building includes distinctive and unique design reflecting the University’s artistic excellence. The facility consists of exhibition galleries, ground floor reception area with a catering kitchen, a lecture hall, loading dock with work room, administrative offices, and a small classroom/teaching lab. The new Institute for Contemporary Arts is located on the Monroe Park Campus of the Virginia Commonwealth University. Convergent Technologies is providing complete design services for telecommunications cabling systems infrastructure, room acoustics, interior sound isolation, and HVAC noise control design services. Spaces to receive technology design systems include: 210 Seat Theatre, Lecture Hall, Classroom/Teaching Lab, and Gallery Spaces. This project is scheduled to be complete in 2015.
