GOODWIN HOUSE ALEXANDRIA CENTER OF EXCELLENCE

The Goodwin House in Alexandria, VA has been providing outstanding care for older adults in a progressive ‘small house’ urban senior living community for 50 years! Recently, a new 86,000 square foot health care facility, known as The Center of Excellence has been constructed, to help update the overall campus. The Center of Excellence can accommodate up to 90 residents, providing them with state of the art healthcare beds. The Center of Excellence houses memory care, short-term rehabilitation, and long term care, 40 underground parking spaces, 37,500 square feet of green space in an extensive green roof, perimeter patios, resident garden beds, and extensive landscaping with walking paths. The new Center of Excellence is connected to the original facility through the commons area on the first floor. The facility is proud to provide nurse call system, wander guard and access control security systems.
