PGCC Lanham Hall

CTDG is honored to have been part of “a new acoustically advanced elliptical lecture hall in which the instructor can be heard without a microphone.”

The renovation of Lanham Hall allowed Prince George’s Community College to create a comprehensive Student Learning Center which will strengthen its Workforce Development and
Continuing Education Programs and expand the Middle College High School. Originally constructed in 1969, Lanham Hall will also house the relocated Administrative Supports Unit (print shop, supply room and mail room). A partnership between PGCC and the Prince George’s County Public School System, the Middle College High School will be consolidated and moved to the third floor of the building, allowing the program to expand to its maximum limit of 400 students.

Identified by the college as requiring serious technology systems upgrades, Convergent Technologies scope for this project includes audiovisual and telecommunication systems design with supporting infrastructure, video surveillance and access control systems.
