Georgetown University Law Center, Hart Auditorium (McDonough Hall)

Project Description

Convergent Technologies Design Group provided telecommunications cabling systems, audiovisual systems, acoustics, noise and vibration control design services for the Georgetown University Law Center, McDonough Hall located in Washington, DC. The Hart auditorium has 357 seats and can be rented for private events in addition to school sponsored events and productions. The primary goal of this project was to modernize the event space with cutting edge audio-visual and theatrical equipment, while also increasing the acoustical performance of the space. CTDG focused on functionality for the primary display system in order to allow it to serve as a video backdrop or advertising canvas for events occurring in the space. This renovation was completed in October 2023.
