Richard Bland College – New Science & Technology Building

The scope of this project consists of the design and construction of a New Science and Technology Building at Richard Bland College. Convergent Technologies is providing telecommunications cabling and audiovisual systems infrastructure and room acoustics, interior sound isolation, HVAC noise control design services as they relate to the new building. The building will accommodate mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology academic programs and administrative functions. This project is part of the College’s master plan for classroom expansion. Convergent Technologies supplied only the manufacturer’s latest product as to keep the promise to deliver the most state-of-the-art-development. This new academic building features a strong connection to the existing campus’ student center, library and adjacent academic building by creating an enclosed outdoor quadrangle through its careful placement on the site. This building is expected to be open for use in August 2010.
