Kent State University – On Call Tele/Data Designer

Kent State University operates an eight-campus system throughout Northeast Ohio, among the largest regional systems in the country, and serves more than 22,000 graduate and undergraduate students from across the country. Convergent Technologies was among the consultants selected for as needed Tele/Data Design and Consulting Services. Under this contract CTDG is on-call for specialty design services for any tele/data discipline, to review or create a Program of Requirements, various studies, prototype building design, preparation of bidding and construction documents, pre-design investigations, and/or quality assurance testing during construction. The scope of this contract is a three-year term with design fees not to exceed $250,000.00 over the three-year period; each individual assignment can range from $25,000.00 – $75,000.00 per project. To be awarded this contract Convergent Technologies had to exhibit extensive prior design, project management and construction administration experience in higher education and similarly complex settings. CTDG will be considered eligible for award of projects for the period covering July 2009 –  June 2012.
